The last single I will be releasing before the still-untitled album comes out. It has never debuted anywhere else despite the fact that I've had multiple versions of the song saved on my hard drive for over two years now.

This song uses descriptions of blood fetishism and mutual self-harm as a metaphor for trust and relationship issues. In this scenario, both parties are "cutting themselves open" each time they reveal their traumas and secrets to each other in private. But in their minds, the process of such is dangerous. They fear that too much exposition or prying into each other's pasts will result in one or both of them losing their will to continue the relationship, either because they've learned too much about their partner or because they've exposed too much of themselves. (Akin to how a person will eventually die of blood loss if too much of it is spilled at once.)

Yes, this song is written from personal experience. No, I don't want to talk about it.
